Refik Anadol Studio created a 3D sculpture, based on AI generated data. The project displays what happens when 1,742,772 images of corals published on social media are processed by machine
learning classification models.
The vibrant and dynamic images prove that technical devices can play creative (and not only destructive) roles in the relationship between people and the planet and draw attention towards immense beauty in need of preservation and restoration.
